THE FIESTA
700 tonne DWT cargo/inter-island passenger ferry for the Caribbean area and as a cargo vessel when trading to the United States, capable of carrying standard 20 and 40 foot ISO containers, passenger cars, trailer with tractor, Caterpillar D8 type tractors and general & break bulk cargoes, equipped with two (2) ABC Belgium 8 DZC-900-166 main engines.
BASIS OF THE FIESTA DESIGN
The design features of the FIESTA vessels have been developed through research and consultations with many internationally prominent and successful clients. The latest trends in type, parcel size and trade in the Caribbean region, the latest trends in shipboard manning practices, latest regulations governing pollution, ballast management, safety and communications have been incorporated in the FIESTA design.

SPEED AND ENDURANCE
Service speed at designed full load draft condition of 3.0 m and at 90% SMCR of both main engines without sea margin with clean hull and calm sea: 16.0 knots.
Endurance based on fuel consumption of abt. 13.2 metric tonnes per day, 15 days, with main engine at CSR power of about 1,438 kW x 2.
(Fuel oil consumption is based on fuel of lower calorific value of 42,700 kJ/kg)

Bilge in car deck area shall be drained into bilge wells located at for & aft end of car deck and pumped out be the bilge/ballast/fire pump and/or overboard directly from scupper on car deck.

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
The air conditioning system is of non-CFC refrigerant directly evaporated type to supply cooling air for all air conditioning rooms and to be dimensioned to meet the following design conditions in summer:

inside: 24°C, 50% RH
CORROSION PROTECTION
Flat, Side Bottom & Boot Top:
Tar epoxy, tin free antifouling antifouling paint
Top side:
Epoxy paint, poly-urethane top coat
