GTRC's philosophy of project management focuses on safety, environmental protection, operational simplicity, redundancy and ease of maintenance based on reduced manning.
At GTRC, we take a proactive approach to project management. For achieving this goal we have focused on three main areas:

	High level of open communication not only among different levels of our own staff, but also with the Owners, and their technical department, the classification society, the design houses and the various departments at the shipyard
	An extensive data bank with ready access available to the on site supervision team

OUR TEAM: With its unique philosophy and impeccable track record GTRC has always attracted topnotch professionals. Our team up to the president is made up of professionals with a high level of education in naval architecture, mechanical, marine, electrical, welding and coating engineering, automation and computer technology, quality assurance administration and with long years of on board experience as operating engineers and shore experience as superintendents. The strength of GTRC is the knowledge, experience, dedication, loyalty, and commitment of its people.

OUR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: We maintain an open door policy- any one of our staff can write directly to any one of the top management including the president with their concerns, comments, or suggestions and expect to get a reply within twenty four hours. Free interchange of information between project managers and their design staff provides an opportunity for learning from "other peoples mistakes" before it occurs in one's own project. GTRC also provides up to date information from classification societies and regulatory bodies to its staff. All senior members of GTRC team travel regularly to various site offices for audits and trouble shooting and attend seatrials, delivery and acceptance which give them hands on exposure to the state of affairs with each project.

GTRC maintains close working relationship with classification societies and are able to resolve classification and regulatory body requirements at plan approval stages.

Extensive communication with Owners technical, operations and commercial departments enables GTRC to constantly improve their performance as well as the design and construction standards of new buildings.

GTRC maintains daily communication with production and quality control personnel at the shipyard in order to resolve day to day problems. Weekly meetings are conducted with business, design and technical personnel. to maintain quality and production schedule.

OUR DATA BANK: GTRC maintains a central depository for all its data manned by its staff with long years of experience in data handling which facilitates easy access and retrieval of data by any member of GTRC supervision team at any time.

GTRC's long years of experience in standard design and series construction philosophy has helped in continuously upgrading designs and construction methods and quality standards. Our deep involvement in concept design, design development and plan approval gives our staff a high degree of exposure to the designs and to the projects at an early stage which enables us to carryout proactive supervision thus avoiding costly reworks and delays after fabrication.
